  Marcia Verstegen, 91, Little Chute, died Friday, November 24, 2006, at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna. She was born May 21, 1915, in Little Chute, daughter of William and Anna (Van Eyck) Hermans. Marcia was employed at Looks Meat Market, Hanegraaf Grocery and Hillcrest Meats prior to her retirement. Through the years, Marcia provided extensive loving care for her disabled son, Richard "Ricky". She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. Mrs. Verstegen is survived by her son, Daniel E. (Mary) Verstegen, Little Chute; her grandson, Scott (Robin) Verstegen, Little Chute. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard; and a sister, Grace Kobussen. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2006, at St. John Nepomucene Church, with Rev. James Hablewitz officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 2 p.m. Monday, until the time of the mass. A memorial has been established for St. John School. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff at St. Paul Home for the fantastic care given Marcia.
