(Th ey had a funeral and decided to take the time to check out the Orlo/w info rmation.) They had very little information save that his burial date w as 15 May 1959 (a long time after his death in Aberdeen) and that wh en he purchased his lot he was living on Twelth Avenue Southeast in Aberde en SD.I have an obit for Orlow from the Sioux Falls' newpaper which I am snailma iling. However, since the mail really slows down this time of year, I' ll also relate that the article gives his birth date as 27 Dec 1907 in Sio ux Falls. However, he graduated from Rapid City H.S. and held as B.A. fr om Yankton College. He married Willie Lee Rogerts in Virginia on 1 Jan 19 35 and move to Pierre, SD. In 1942, he moved to Aberdeen where he work ed for the IRS. His survivors are listed as daughters Maureen Smith of Or tonville, MN and Sheila Smith of Aberdeen; two brothers, Merile of Tea a nd Darwin or Eugene, Oregon, and a sister, Mrs. Merlyn Davies of North Hol lywood, CA.

He was born Dec 27, 190 7, in Sioux Falls. Later, Mr. Smith was graduated from Rapid City High sch ool and received a bachelor of arts degree from Yankton College. Aft er he married Willie Lee Rogers in Virginia on Jan 1, 1935, he moved to Pi erre and was employed in the state treasurer's office. In 1940 Mr. Smith b ecame deputy collector of Internal Revenue, moving to Aberdeen in 194 2. He was a member of the Congregational Church at Aberdeen, the Aberde en Masonic Blue Lodge, United Commercial Travelers, National Assoc. of Int ernal Revenue Men, National Foundation and was active in Boy Scout work.Survivors include Mrs. Smith, two daughters, Maureen, Ortonville, Minn., a nd Sheila, Aberdeen; two brothers, Merile, Tea, and Darwin, Eugene, Or., a nd a sister, Mrs. Merlyn Davies, North Hollywood, CA. Funeral services wi ll be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Aberdeen and at 4 p.m. at the Banton Chap el with the Rev. Richard Kline officiating.
