- Louise Vilker, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home early on the morning of Friday, November 12, 2010. Her loving family was at her side. Louise was born in Beaver Dam on January 17, 1921, daughter of the late Fred and Renatta (Haas) Frank.
She will be remembered as a devoted mother whose life was defined by the love and affection she bestowed on her children and grandchildren: Vince (Martha) Vilker of Chevy Chase, Maryland; John (Elaine) Vilker of Appleton; Bob (Nancy) Vilker of Laguna Niguel, California; Mary (Dale Bruheim) Vilker of Madison; Jim (Laura) Vilker of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Nancy (Rick Krause) Vilker-Krause of Appleton. Her grandchildren are Kirby Vilker, Kipp Vilker, Jeff (Lynn) Vilker, Christine (Rob) Pierangeli, Riley Solie-Vilker, Vincent Solie-Vilker, Lucy Solie-Vilker, Dominic Vilker, Paul Vilker, Bernie Vilker, Kyle Krause, Molly Krause, and Cole Krause. Louise also leaves behind four beloved great-grandchildren: Graziella, Alina, Madelyn, and Jackson.
A private service for the comfort of the family will be held at a later date, and Louise will be put to rest at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
