- Van Zeeland, Janice M. Kaukauna Age 63, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 17, 2002 at St. Elizabeth H ospital in Appleton. Jan was born in Green Bay on January 2, 1939, daught er of the late Elmer Eiting and Magdalen (Nackers) Eiting of Kaukaun a. On June 3, 1959, she married Ray Van Zeeland at St. Francis Church in H ollandtown; Ray preceded her in death on August 21, 1992.Jan enjoyed bowling, playing cards, spending time with her family, and h er famous "Sunday Drives". She will be remembered by all as a very lovi ng and giving wife and mother who always put the needs of her family befo re those of her own.Jan is survived by five loving children and their fami lies: Cliff (Lois) Van Zeeland of Kaukauna and their daughters Kristen, Ke lly, and Kaitlyn; Mary (Russ) Keberlein of Kaukauna and their daughters Tr acy and Ashley; Dan (Sandy) Van Zeeland of Kaukauna and their children Pet er and Leah; Peggy (Kurt) Van Camp of Freedom and their sons Kevin and Tra vis; Frank (Holly) Van Zeeland of Kaukauna and their children Brandon a nd Allyson. Jan is also survived by a special great-granddaughter Bayleig h, as well as by brothers Bob (Judy) Eiting of Embarrass and Dick (Bett y) Eiting of Hollandtown, and by sisters Rosemary (Jack) Berghuis of Hilbe rt, Alice (Mike) Janssen of Little Chute, and Helen (Cliff) Feldkamp of Ho llandtown. Other survivors include Ray's sisters and brothers: Evelyn Spra ngers of DePere, Grace Hockers of DePere, Ves (Theresa) Van Zeeland of Kau kauna, and Gene (Marion) Van Zeeland of Kaukauna. She was preceded in dea th by her father Elmer Eiting and by her husband Ray Van Zeeland.The funeral liturgy for Jan will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Janua ry 19, 2002 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukau na with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will be in the parish ce metery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 -8 PM Friday and aga in Saturday at the church from 8:30 AM until the hour of the service. The re will be a parish prayer and scripture service at 7:30 PM Friday at t he funeral home.For a very special mother, grandma, and great-grandma who was taken fr om us so soon, you will be deeply missed by all of us. We know you a re in heaven with Dad and are watching over us. We love you, and we'll nev er forget you!
