  Joseph H. Vils Dies Following Year's Illness-Funeral Services to be Held Saturday Morning at St. Mary's Church Joseph H. Vils, aged 47 years, passed away at his home, 319 Reaume Avenue Thursday morning shortly after 5 o'clock following an illness of about a year. The deceased was born in the town of Buchanan on April 9, 1887 and has been a resident of this vicinity his entire life. He was a common laborer and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. He was married to Louise Kappell at St. Mary's Catholic church by Rev. F.X. Steinbrecher on April 5, 1910. Survivors are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Matt Klein, Appleton; one sister, Mrs. John Gallatin, Kenosha, and two brothers, Christ and Gus Vils both of Kaukauna. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning from St. Mary's Schur with Rev. A. Roder, pastor in charge. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. The body was taken to the home on Reaume avenue Thursday afternoon where it will remain until the time of services Saturday morning.
