  Irma R. Glawe, age 94, Appleton, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at Renaissance Assisted Living. She was born December 27, 1913, in Town of Center to Fred & Elsie (Ahrens) Plamann. She married Al Glawe on April 25, 1942; he preceded her in death on September 14, 1987. Irma was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Irma is survived by sister, Florence Scharmann; brother, Herbert (Eva) Plamann; sisters-in-law: Maxine Plamann, Vivian Plamann, Leona Plamann; nephew, Mike (Terrie) Plamann; niece, Donna (John) Kettleson. She is further survived by other nieces and nephews. Irma was preceded in death by her husband; brothers: Melvin Plamann and Merrill Plamann; sister, Mildred Captain; half brothers: Les Plamann and Emerald Plamann; half sister, Lucille Brower. A funeral service for Irma will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home, with Rev. George Detweiler officiating. Visitation for Irma will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, Noon-2 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.
