  David Volkman, age 40, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, September 30, 2012. David was born in Appleton on September 30, 1972, son of the late Donald Volkman and Sharon Phillips of Appleton. He is survived by his wife: JoAnn Volkman of Neenah, and their daughters Summer and Angel; his mother: Sharon (Charles) Phillips of Darboy; a sister: Tammy (Ricardo) Gonzalez of Neenah; maternal grandmother: Ruth Lee of Lima, Pennsylvania; an uncle: David Lee of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania; his mother-in-law: Maria (Juan) Flores of Omro; two step-sisters: Tammy Jo (Don) Forrest of Illinois and Sarah (Karl) Guenther of Berlin; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Donald in 1975, his brother Troy in 2003, and by three grandparents. A funeral service for David will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at the Wichmann Funeral Home in Appleton, with Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the services.
