- Margaret Vannieuwenhoven, age 92, of Oneida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday evening January 3, 2011. She was born October 4, 1918, in Green Bay to the late Francis and Hilda (Runnoe) Wouters. On February 15, 1937, she married Clyde Vannieuwenhoven, and he preceded her in death in 1983. Margaret was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oneida. She liked to garden, play cards and Bingo, and sports in general, especially the Green Bay Packers, and the St. Norbert Green Knights when her grandsons played. Margaret looked forward to get togethers with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Maxine Cleven, Jan (Larry) Van Kauwenberg, Mary (Cal) Seidl, Glen Vannieuwenhoven, and Mark (Julayne) Vannieuwenhoven. Her grandchildren Ty, Todd, Trevor, Tara, Trista, Troy, Annette, Craig, Jeannine, Matt, Doug, Shelly, Sheila, Sheryl, Dawn, Shannon, Eric, Erin, Lisa, Amy, Adam, and Maria, as well as her 27 great-grandchildren. Margaret's sister Geraldine Rademacher, her brother in law Ellsworth Vann, sister in law Virginia Wouters, and many nieces and nephews also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde, her sons Tom and Mike her siblings and their spouses; Leslie Wouters, Marian (Orville) Briquelet, Dorothy (John) Van Grinsven, brother in law Rod Rademacher and members of Clyde's family.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere fron 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday, with a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oneida until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr.
