  Mrs. John H. Corcoran Mrs. John H. Corcoran, 85, 308 E. Eighth street, Kaukauna, mother of John N. Corcoran, Kaukauna, Fourth ward supervisor, died at 9:50 this morning at her home after a short illness. Born in 1857 in town of Center, daughter of M. M. Hephner, one of the early settlers in that vicinity, she moved to Chilton about 1865, and taught in the public schools there for 20 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart court, Women's Catholic Order of Foresters, and Altar society of St. Mary's church. She came to Kaukauna after her marriage in 1896. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Leon J. Wolf, Appleton, and Miss Roberta Corcoran, New York city; one son, John, Kaukauna; tow step-sons, William J. Corcoran, Ironwood, Mich., and Frank J. Corcoran, Tacomah, Wash.; one brother, James Hephner, Chilton; two sisters, Mrs. Robert J. McGrath, Iron Mountain, Mich.; and Mrs. Edward Barnaby, Ironwood, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at St. Mary's church, with the cortege forming at 8:30 at Greenwood Funeral home. The Rev. A. Roder will be in charge, with burial in Holy Cross cemetery. The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
