- Edward A. Ponschok 710 Lincoln Ave., Kaukauna Age 64, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Monday after a short illness. He was born March 1, 1898 in Kaukauna and lived in the area most of his life. He was employed at the Thilmany Pulp and Paper Co. until June 1962 when he retired. He was a member of the C.O.F. and the Holy Name Society of the Holy Cross Church, Kaukauna. He served in the Army in World War I. Mr. Ponschok is survived by his wife; one son, Fred, Shawano; two brothers, Arnold and Frank, Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Kasten, Milwaukee; Mrs. John Seigle, Kaukauna, and Mrs. Martin O'Brien, Detroit; 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with intermennt in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna, after 2 p.m. Wednesday where the rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m." (Appleton Post-Crescent, 18-Dec-1962, B-12)
