- Norman (Norm) A. Schroeder, Wrightstown, age 84, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Norm was born on October 2, 1927 to the late Norman and Emma (Kussow) Schroeder. He married the former Donna Reschke on May 16, 1953. Norm worked at Thilmanys until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of Thilmanys Quarter Century Club. Norm and his brother Elwyn also ran a body shop in Wrightstown for many years. He proudly served his country from 1946 to 1948. Norm enjoyed bowling and was an avid golfer belonging to several leagues. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children: Lynn (Wayne) Piepenburg, Sue (Dave) Rosenbaum, and Scott (Nadine) Schroeder; his loving grandchildren: Yancy (Georgina) and Corey (Heather) Piepenburg, Leah (Wayne) Cisler, Trenton Rosenbaum (special friend Jenny), Spencer Schroeder, Lance Schroeder (special friend Elizabeth); and his first adorable great-grandson, Lincoln Cisler. He is further survived by the mother of his children, Donna Schroeder, sister-in-law, Gloria Schroeder, and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tanner Schroeder; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Elwyn (Margaret) Schroeder and Edward Schroeder, a nephew, Bruce Schroeder.
Funeral services for Norm will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive in Kaukauna with Pastor Matthew Vik officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. www.boettcherfamilyfuneral.com
