- Gary Yingling, 58, Kaukauna, passed away at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Gary was born on June 29, 1951, in Appleton, to the late Jerome and Helen (Andrejeski) Yingling. He married Virginia Christensen on Jan. 3, 2004. Gary worked for Thilmany for 40 years and was an avid golfer. He was a wonderful husband and father and was an all around great guy. Gary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held the position of High Priest.
Gary is survived by his wife, Virginia Yingling, Kaukauna; one son, Jordan (Kelly) Yingling, Appleton; four daughters, Cristi (Mike) Gatten, Las Vegas; Hollie Anne Chadwick, Las Vegas; Terri Lynne (David) Gonzalez, Alpine, Utah; Debbie (Michael) Harper, Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren, Cailin, Lila, Christina, Christopher, Carolyn, Jason, Skyler, Tiffany, Kelsie, and Stasha; two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Jordan; two brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Yingling and David (Jennifer) Yingling; two sisters, Linda (Pete) Madaski and Karen (Mike) Rammer; his mother-in-law, Eileen Christensen, Orem, Utah; five nieces and nephews and many friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Carl Christensen.
Friends may call on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS, 425 W. Park Ridge Ave., Appleton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Cemetery.
