- Nancy M. Wippich, age 81, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Cherry Meadows in Appleton. She was born in Neenah, on August 21, 1933 to the late Fred and Cecelia (Wirtz) Schnasse. Nancy attended and graduated from Neenah High School. On November 13, 1954 she married Donald Wippich in Menasha, and the two spent nearly 60 years together before her passing. Nancy was a loving and caring mother of four. She dedicated herself to caring for her family and maintaining the family home.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Donald Wippich; four children: Pam (Chuck) Peterson of Greenville; Jim (Vicki) Wippich of Neenah; Linda (Steve) Stratton of Appleton; Fred Wippich of Menasha; grandchildren: Joe (Kim) Stratton; Craig (Erin) Peterson; Chris (Mollie) Stratton; Tori Wippich; Sarah (Joe) Hansen; Jeff (Kayla) Wippich; Kathie (Chelsie) Hansen-Stratton; great-grandchildren: Logan, Melanie, Daniel and Reese; Brother: Eugene (Liz) Schnasse; sisters-in-law: Florence Babbitts; Marge (Bob Bolwerk) Wippich; along with other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents-in-law: John and Viola Wippich; brother-in-law: Don (Harriet) Schnasse; sister-in-law: Joyce (Jim) Koslowski; brothers-in-law: Cedric Babbitts; Jack Wippich.
Per Nancy's request, private services will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mary Biese, Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara and the staff at Cherry Meadows for the care given to Nancy.
