  Gwendolyn "Gwen" Timm, age 98, of Hortonville, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at St. Joseph Residence in New London. She was born on August 26, 1911, in the Town of Center daughter of the late Louis and Lula (Tessen) Wehrman. On May 12, 1934, she married Leonard Timm in Michigan. He preceded her in death on January 5, 1984. Gwen was well-known as the Hortonville Town Seamstress, using her talents for many in the community and surrounding area. She was the oldest member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville, of which she was an active member. She is survived by her children: Dale (Jan) Timm, Appleton; Diana (Melvin) Krenke, Readfield; grandchildren: Keith (Heidi) Krenke, Readfield; Dean (Margaret) Krenke, Readfield; Jeff (Tracy) Timm, Neenah and Marsha Timm, Appleton; four great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Avis Schlintz, Appleton; Lyla Schlintz, Shiocton; sisters-in-law: Gladys Timm and Dorothy Knaack. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and a special friend Beth Ziegler further survive her. Her parents, husband, grandson Joel, and two brothers Woodrow and Austin preceded her in death. The Christian Funeral for Gwen will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church in Hortonville with Rev. Ralph Rosenberg officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home 109 W.
