- Carol A Arnold 79, Appleton, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2015 at Theda Clark Medical Center. Carol was born on August 3, 1935 in Appleton to the late August and Anna (Hammer) Wojahn. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1953. Upon graduating she worked at American Can. She married Stanley Arnold on April 8, 1961 at First English Lutheran Church in Appleton. She and Stan enjoyed many winters in Clearwater Beach, FL. She was an active member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in the Ladies Aide and Alter Guild.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley; daughter, Sandra Arnold; son, Mark (Jill Bauer) Arnold; sister-in-law, Jean Wojahn; brother-in-law, Kenneth Gauerke; 13 nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Donald and Robert and an infant brother; sister-in-law, Shirley Gauerke and brother-in-law, Earl (Marion) Arnold.
Funeral services for Carol will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church with Pastor Jasper Sellnow officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Wednesday at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel from 4 - 8 PM and again directly at church on Thursday from 9 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the church.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Anthony Phillips and the staff of Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology for their wonderful care of Mom.
