  Deloris L. Schmahl, 86, of W5772 CTH EH, Elkhart Lake, died Thursday evening, August 13, 2009, at Homestead Care Center, New Holstein where she was a resident the past 1½ years. She was the former Deloris Broehm born September 14, 1922, daughter of the late Alvin and Caroline Treichel Broehm. Deloris was a 1940 graduate of Kaukauna High School. On August 28, 1976, she married Charles Schmahl at Bethany Lutheran Church, Kaukauna. Deloris enjoyed working on her yard and lawn. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Charles of rural Elkhart Lake; one brother, Alvin (Arlene) Broehm, of Waucousta, WI; nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd Fink. Funeral services for Deloris will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St., Kiel, with Rev. Jeremy Cares officiating. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
