  Nicholas H. Hietpas, 610 W. Main St. Little Chute, age 89, passed away pe acefully a 8:30 A M Wednesday, February 9, 1994 at home. He was born on De cember 19, 1904, the son of Henry H . and Mary ( Joosten ) Hietpas. He w as a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Little Chute , and the Forester s. He was employed as a tinsmith at Kimberly-Clark Corp. in Kimberly f or 3 2 years, He also worked for C.R. Meyer Construction. He married Esth er H. Van Handel on Novem ber 23, 1937. Survivors include his wife of 56 y ears, Esther; 3 daughters: Mrs. Betty Vanden berg, Darboy; Mrs. Leo ( Ire ne ) Bies, Darboy; and Mrs. Gerry ( Pauline ) DeGroot, Little Chu te; t wo sons: Harley (Carol ) Hietpas, Little Chute; and Dan (Susie ) Hietpa s, Little Chute ; 21grandchildren: Noreen Petersen, Myron Luniak, John, Fr ank, Dan, Todd and Jodi Vandenberg , Al Biese, Brenda Vanden Heuvel, Conn ie Sprangers, Kelly Lamers, Jill VanGompel, Michelle Pa uls, Maxine DeGroo t, Kristine, Diana and Sally Hietpas, Heidi Pynenberg, Kathy, Holly and E ri n Hietpas; 20 great grand children:Russell and Marie Luniak, Clint a nd Gary Vandenberg, Jami e and Tony Vandenberg, Alexa Biese, Brianna Truji llo, Lucas and Lacy Vanden Heuvel, Alicia Sp rangers, Cassandra, Ben and J ordan Lamers, Adam, Leah, Amanda and Zachary VanGompel, Kristi n and Kat ie Pynenberg, a sister Barbara Arts, Appleton; a sister in-law, Rose Hietp as, Applet on. Alfred Hie tpas, Martin Hietp as, John Hietpas, Simon Hietpas, Frank Hietpas and Joseph Hietpas; 3 sist er s; Mrs. Ted ( Hattie ) Lamers, Mrs. Simon ( Marie ) Ebben and Verona Hi etpas.The funeral will be a 6 PM Friday Feb. 11 at St. John's Catholic Churc h, in Little Chute wit h Rev. Donald Zuleger and Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen of ficiating. Burial will be in Hyland Memori al Park. Friends may call at t he church from 3to 6 PM Friday with the liturgy at 6 PM. VerKui len Funer al Home is assisting the family.

  LITTLE CHUTE: The marrige of Miss Esther Van Handle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matin Van Handle took place Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock at St. Johns Catholic Church, Little Chute. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Alfred Hietpas, brother of the bridegroom. Attendents were Norbert Van Handle and Miss Cora Ziemer of Seymor. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to immediate relatives at the Van Handel home after which the couple left on an eight week motor trip to Florida. The couple will make there home in Little Chute. APPLETON POST CRESCENT NOV 23, 1937
