- Marjorie M. Hurlbut, 72, Waupaca, Wis., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at her residence. Marjorie was born in Waupaca, on Jan. 5, 1935, the daughter of the late Guy and Ivy (Reinheimer) Schmahl. On June 11, 1955, Marjorie married Kenneth E. Hurlbut at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. She played the organ in many churches over the years and also enjoyed bowling, water activities and knitting. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Marjorie is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Hurlbut, Waupaca; her daughter, Susan (Brian) Feest, Appleton; her son, Mark (Karen) Hurlbut, Muskego, Wis.; four grandchildren, Brianna and Jared Feest and Paul and Trey Hurlbut. Also surviving are cousins, other relatives and many friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia Smith. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca with the Rev. Nathan Liedtke, officiating. Interment will be in the spring at Rural Cemetery in the Town of Dayton, Waupaca Co. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.
A memorial fund has been established in Marjorie's name. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements
