- Judith D. "Judy" Mortimer, nee Delforge, age 65, of Chilton, died on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was born July 2, 1945, in Green Bay, daughter of Gwendolyn (Rolley) Delforge and the late Raymond M. Delforge. Judy married Carl "Butch" Mortimer on July 6, 1985, at Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Chilton. She was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton worked many years for the Foley Company in Chilton. Judy was a kind individual who had a big heart, always thinking of others before herself. She used these God given gifts to diligently care for others at the Homestead Care Center in New Holstein before she retired three years ago. Judy was fun to be with; whether time was spent with her on a casino trip, listening to classic Elvis Presley music, or admiring the recent addition to her Elvis paraphernalia collection, that time was sure to be a cherished memory in the making.
Survivors include her mother: Gwendolyn Delforge-Boehm; brothers: Raymond and Rita Delforge, Green Bay; Ron and Joan Delforge, Menomonee Falls; a sister, Debbie (Brian) Cuene, DePere; a niece and Godchild: Rebecca Barbosa; a nephew and Godchild: Josh Willems; additional nieces and nephews: Eric Delforge, Brian Delforge, Renee Bergsbaken, Mike Giese, Michelle Giese; and her Godfather: Roland Delforge. She is further survived bye great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her father, Raymond M. Delforge; her husband, Carl; and her Godmother: Gladys Rolley.
Funeral service will be at 12 Noon on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at St. Martin Lutheran Church (717 Memorial Dr.) in Chilton with the Rev. Wayne Huebner officiating. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011. Memorials are appreciated in the name of Judith D. Mortimer.
