  Nicholas Diedrich, 75, of Route 2, Hilbert, passed away Sunday at 1:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, following a long illness. Born December 24, 1878 in the town of Woodville, he spent his entire life in that township. On May 5, 1908, he was married to Catherine Bauer at St. Marys Catholic Church at Hilbert. Survivors are three sons, Elmer of Stockbridge and Edward and Math of Hilbert; two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Anna) Garth of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Ervin (Margaret) Gruber of Hilbert; 21 grandchildren and one brother Peter of Valders. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Techman-Wieting Funeral Home at Hilbert and at St. Marys Catholic church. The Rev. Martin Jaekels will officiate and interment will be made in the church cemetery.
