- Mrs. Mark G. Hietpas, Ru th M. Gussert, age 54, and died 830 P M Wednesday, following a battle wi th cancer. She was born April 22nd, 1936 in Wrightstown. She was a memb er of the St. John Catholic Church and had been a Little Chute resident f or 34 years, since her marriage to Mark on April 24th, 1956. Survivors inc lude her husband, Mark; two sons and a daughter in law: Philip and Lea Hie tpas, Kaukauna; Kevin Hietpas, at home; five daughters and sons in law: Ba rbara and Jerry Meulemans, Kaukauna; Karen and Mike Schwabenlander; Kel ly and Andy Hietpas, Red Wing, Minnesota; Sandra and Mark Diedrich, Horton ville; Sally and Rick Stoeger, Little Chute; two brothers and sisters in l aw, Connie and Donna Gussert, Guthrie Okla.; Lloyd and Mary Gussert, Wrigh tstown; 12 grandchildren: Liberty, Brody, Kyle, Nicole, Jonathan Hietpa s, Eric, Lucas Vanlankvelt, Corrie, Troy, Dana Schwabenlender, Michael a nd Emily Diedrich; her mother in law, Margaret Penning's, Kaukauna; four b rothers in law: Arts and Irene Hietpas, Appleton; Paul and Ethel Hietpa s, Coleman; Owen and Irene Hietpas, Leesburg Florida; a very special broth er in law Dennis Hietpas, Kaukauna; three sisters in law: Pat Tatro, Kauka una; Margie Hietpas, Kaukauna; Betty and Casey VanderSanden, Little Chut e. She was preceded in death by her parents: Leo and Agnes Gussert, two s isters in law: Bernice Larson and Shirley Mattern; a brother in law Bill H ietpas; a son in law, John Vanlankvelt, father in law, William Hietpas. F uneral services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday from St. John Catholic Church wi th the Reverend Monsignor James Vandenhogen officiating. Internment wi ll be in the parish cemetery. The golden heart stopped beating, hard-work ing hands to rest, God it broke our hearts to prove he only takes the bes t. A million times we thought of you, a million times we've cried, If Lo ve alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we lo ve you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a speci al place no one else can never fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, b ut Ruth you didn't go alone, for most of us what with you that day God to ok you home. God took from us a very special person.
