  Deering, Joseph C. KaukaunaAge 97, died on Saturday evening, November 30, 2002 at Appleton Medical Ce nter. He was born on March 5, 1905 in Kaukauna the son of the late Greg or and Anna (Hurkman) Deering. On May 20, 1929 he married Mary Bonge rs in Little Chute. She passed away on October 24, 1998. He owned and oper ated a dairy farm most of his life in the Kaukauna area, and had been empl oyed at various jobs after he quit farming. Joe was recognized for 75 yea rs of membership with the Catholic Order of Foresters, and was a lifeti me member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna.He is survived by his daughter Eileen Nackers of Wrightstown, his son Jer ry (Mary Kay) Deering of Little Chute, ten grandchildren, nineteen great-g randchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. He was preceded in dea th by his wife Mary, two brothers, four sisters, a son-in-law Albert Nacke rs, and a daughter-in-law Donna Deering.A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at 11: 00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna with the Rev. Jack Mullark ey officiating. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemeter y. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the ti me of the service.
