  Kimberly, Wisconsin - Grace G. Vander Heiden, age 97, of Kimberly passed away on August 15, 2018 at Parkside Senior Living in Neenah. Grace was born on September 02, 1920 to Jacob and Catherine (Peeters) Gerrits in Kaukauna and grew up on a farm in Black Creek before moving to Appleton. She married John "Jack" Vander Heiden on May 25, 1940 and lived in Kimberly on Joseph St. for 60 years. Grace is survived by a brother Gordy Gerrits, Appleton, a Sister in law Mary Gerrits, Kimberly and three children, Kay (Ed) Hudak, Neenah, Gail Sprangers, Park Falls and Gary (Gina) Vander Heiden, Grand Rapids, MI. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren: Scott (Kristy) Vander Heiden, Darboy, Vicki (Pete) Zipperer, Kaukauna, Russell (Danette) Wilz, New Holstein, Aaron (Kayshia) Wilz, Menasha, Nicholas (Kelsey Walasek) Sprangers, Park Falls, Eric (Jennifer) Hudak, Sheboygan, Rebecca (Kevin) Beringer, Fox Crossing, Andrew (Jessica) Hudak, Suamico, Luke Vander Heiden, Chicago IL, Lara (David) Carling, Evanston, IL, and Lane Vander Heiden, Grand Rapids, MI along with 20 great grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Catherine Gerrits, her in-laws Minnie and Peter Jaeckels, son, James (Shirley) Vander Heiden, Darboy, son-in-law Earl Sprangers, Park Falls - Sisters - Evelyn Gerrits, Joanne Werner, Bernice (Levi) Kern, Julia (Jerry) Pankratz, Florence (Bud) Horn, Dorothy (Don) Kruckeberg and a brother Marvin Gerrits. A visitation will be held for Grace from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, WI, 54136, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated for her at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 20 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church-Kimberly Site, 620 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, WI 54136. Friends may visit at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of mass.
