  Mary E. Coenen, 95, Allouez, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Aug. 31, 2010, at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton. The daughter of the late Henry and Irene (Van Remortal) Coenen, was born May 6, 1915, in De Pere. Mary was an accountant and office manager at Cuene Buick for many years prior to her retirement. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Alice Coenen, Dorothy Coenen, Sylvia (Harold) Schumerth, and Florence (Les) Biselx; and her brother, Clement (Dorothy) Coenen. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at Resurrection Parish, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, after 9:30 Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, until the time of the service. Mass will be celebrated at the church at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Burial will be Saturday at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, De Pere. Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, 54115, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Bay Area Humane Society. Mary's family would like to thank the staff at Cherry Meadows Hospice for their loving care and kindness during her time there.
