  Annette F. Burton, age 78, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Ann was born on October 20, 1930, in Appleton to the late Joseph and Lucina (Wyngaard) Welhouse. She married Norman J. Burton on October 15, 1955, in Waukegan, Illinois. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of services. Burton,78, Appleton, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Ann was born on October 20, 1930, in Appleton to the late Joseph and Lucina (Wyngaard) Welhouse. She married Norman J. Burton on October 15, 1955, in Waukegan, Illinois. Ann enjoyed flowers, gardening, fishing, crafting and was an avid Packers fan. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Norman; her sons, Kevin Burton, Appleton; Kelly (Stacie) Burton, and their children Spencer and Sawyer, Appleton; Kurtis (Leanne) Burton, Wrightstown; and Kris Burton (special friend, Jodi Skeens), Appleton; her step-son, Greg (Peggy) Burton, Appleton; her brothers, Donald (Marian) Welhouse, Green Bay, and Thomas (Carol) Welhouse, Green Bay; her sisters, Verona Berg (special friend, Sue), Winchester; Lucina Iles, Saugus, California; and Janice Boucher, Elephant Butte, New Mexico; her brothers-in-law, Orrin Hendricks, Menasha, and Peter Cortes, La Canada, California; and her sister-in-law, Lucille Welhouse, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Roman Welhouse; and her sisters, Elizabeth Cortes, her twin-sister Mary Ann Hendricks, and Blanche Ziewacz. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her name.
