  Van Schyndel, Genevieve L ., W1342 County Road JJ, Kaukauna Age 89, died Saturday morning, December 13, 2003. She was born June 6, 191 4, to the late Henry and Minnie (Welhouse) DeBruin, in Freedom and had be en an area resident all of her life. Genevieve had been employed by St Eli zabeth Hospital and Rose's Rest Home as a nurses aid and by Kimberly Cla rk at the Lakeview Mill. Genevieve enjoyed raising and working with her ra cehorses. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Henry and Lynn Van Schynd el, Kaukauna; Richard and Marie Van Schyndel, Crivitz; a daughter, Betty D orman, Kaukauna; a daughter-in-law, Donna (Ron) Koski, Fremont; 18 grandch ildren; 32 great -grandchildren; 5 great -great grandchildren; three broth ers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Janice DeBruin, Kaukauna; Harold and Ca rolyn DeBruin, Pulcifer; Victor and Deb DeBruin, Freedom; four sisters a nd three brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Martin Van Schyndel, Kaukauna; Dorot hy Hawley, Seymour; Elaine and Casey Van Cuyk, Combined Locks; Judy and J im Menting, Little Chute; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann DeBruin, Luxembur g; Virgie DeBruin, Appleton.She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Van Schyndel on June 16, 1 985, her son, Robert, her son-in-law, Dick Dorman, a brother, Melvin DeBru in and a sister, Clara (Romy) Simons.The funeral liturgy for Genevieve will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, Decem ber 15, 2003, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, with Fat her Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Fri ends may call at the church from 3:00 p.m. Monday until the time of the ma ss. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
