  Ebben, Richard W. “Rick”Rick Ebben, age 50, Little Chute, passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 2 4, 2005, with his family by his side after suffering a heart attack. He w as born on April 11, 1955, the youngest child of the late Rich and Jakie E bben. Rick was a graduate of St. John’s High School, Little Chute, Cla ss of 1973. He was employed at Hi-Tech Plastics in Kaukauna. Rick’s greate st joys were being with family and friends, especially time spent at Arbut us Lake in Pickerel and hitting the open road on his motorcycle. He w as a man with a quiet demeanor and great inner strength. Rick knew a litt le bit about just about everything and kept us amused with his quick “one- liners.” He will be deeply missed by all who know and love him.Rick is survived by his brother, Robert Ebben and Sandy Conradt, Pickere l; sisters, LuAnn (Leon) Vanden Heuvel, Little Chute; Ellen (Mike) Janse n, Kaukauna. He is further survived by his niece, Kelley (Troy) DeWitt; ne phews, Ryan (Nicole) Vanden Heuvel, Jay (Bobbie Jo) Vanden Heuvel, David ( Jodi) Vanden Heuvel, Dan (Jill) Jansen; great-nieces and nephews, Tanne r, Madyson, Eli, Jacob, Rylee, Tressa, Gavin, Sam, Bennett and Grace; h is godmother, Ione Van Sambeek; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-wor kers.Rick was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew Ben Jansen and his god father, Bill Van Sambeek.Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, at St. Jo hn Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, with Rev. Msgr. James Vand en Hogen officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chut e. Friends may call at the church from 1:30 p.m. Tuesday until the ti me of the Mass. A memorial has been established.Rick’s family would like to thank his co-workers at Hi-Tech Plastics, Kauk auna Police, Fire, Rescue and Paramedics, the Doctors and nurses at Applet on Medical Center Emergency Room and ICU who so compassionately assisted R ick in his time of need. We are grateful for and will always remember t he love and support from family and friends.Through Rick’s generous donation of his corneas, we are hopeful that someo ne will be able to see all the beauty of this world, as Rick did.
