- Van Dyke, Thomas J. "To m"Thomas J. "Tom" Van Dyke, 71, of Lakewood, formerly of Neenah, passed aw ay unexpectedly May 16, 2006, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Thomas was bo rn January 28, 1935, in Appleton, son of Joseph and Laura (Liesch) Van Dyk e. Thomas married Carol Stichman, December 19, 1972. Mr. Van Dyke is a U. S. Army veteran.He was a member of the Bullhead, Arizona V.F.W. and American Legion. Thom as was employed at Lenox Candles, Oshkosh and Appleton Papers until his re tirement.Tom is survived by his wife Carol; six children: Debra Pontius, Oshkosh; J ohn Hoag, San Francisco, CA; Peter Van Dyke, WI; Mike Hoag, Neenah; Jane V an Dyke, CA; Linda Van Dyke, Neenah; six grandchildren; a brother, Peter ( Donna) Van Dyke, Virginia; two sisters: Eleanor (Tom) Burke, Appleton; Joa nne (Ralph) Gast, Appleton; brothers-and sisters-in-law and other relativ es and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the Ke ssler Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Ingold officiating. Friends may ca ll at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the servic e. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
