- Jerald Raymond VanDyke "Jerry", age 85, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Willow Point Memory Care in Verona, WI. He was born June 27, 1919 in Kaukauna to Joseph and Laura (Leisch) VanDyke. On January 20, 1945 Jerry married Marian Day, she preceded him in death in 2003. Jerry lived in Appleton for many years before moving to Madison. He was a volunteer at the food pantry for many years.
He is survived by his children: Mary (Dennis) Vidoni, Ill., Steve VanDyke, Madison, Jim (Mary Beth) VanDyke, Ind., Geralyn (Kim) Sharpe, Minn., Patty (Dan) Clancy, Madison; grandchildren: Eric, Marissa, Ben, Megan, Emily, Patrick, Wil, Kevin and Alex; three brothers and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marian, and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 213 E. Wisconsin Ave., with Fr. Bill Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers and other tokens of sympathy, a memorial will be established by the family.
