- Florence M. Woldt, age 96, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Living Tree Estates, Greenville. She was born on November 7, 1920, to the late Daniel and Charlotte (Ulman) Dorn. Florence was united in marriage to Harold Woldt on June 14, 1945, and together they raised seven children. She had a very strong Catholic faith and insisted on attending weekly mass. Florence enjoyed gardening, baking, and travelling and was also active at St. Gabriel's Church as a Scout Leader, kitchen volunteer, and liturgical participant.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Elaine), Karen (Chris) Burch, Bruce (Susan), Russell (Rebecca), and Cheryl (Michael) Roarty; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Further surviving are sisters Pat Jack, Charlotte Koerner and Bea (Gene) Otto; brothers, Lawrence and Donald; sisters-in-law, Joyce Dorn, Marilyn Dorn, Arlene Agnew, Elaine Plamann, Dorothy Favorite; brother-in-law, Earl (Dianne) Woldt; and many nieces and nephews.
Florence was preceded in death by husband Harold; sons Jeffrey and Gregory; granddaughter Lauren Roarty; her siblings, Esthermae (John) Krull, Edwin (Loretta) Dorn, Eugene (Dorothy) Dorn, Eunice (Reginald) Brockman, Rosella (Rudolph) Ernst, Daniel Dorn and Jerome Dorn.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Florence will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at ST. GABRIEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Florence's name.
