- Dorn, Daniel J.Daniel J. Dorn, 79, Appleton, passed away in Appleton on Friday, Dec. 1 6, 2005. He was born in Greenville on July 24, 1926, son of Daniel John Do rn and Charlotte Catherine (Ullman) Dorn. He married Joyce T. Bettiga of N orway, Mich., on Aug. 21, 1951, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleto n. Danny was a long time resident of Appleton and was employed as a tru ck driver for 32 years and retired as a member of the Teamster's Local Uni on #563. He belonged to St. Therese Catholic Church for 45 years whe re he liked to do volunteer work. He continued his life long love of farmi ng by helping on his brother's and sister's farms, also loved fishing a nd hunting.Danny is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Joyce; children, Way ne (Kathryn) Dorn, Donna (Dan) Chevalier, Green Bay; Chris (Becky) Dorn, S pokane, Wash.; Margaret (Jim) Tillman, Waunakee; and Doug (Barb) Dorn, Kau kauna; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene (Dor othy) Dorn, Donald (Mary Lou) Dorn, Lawrence (Billie Jean) Dorn, and Jero me (Marilyn) Dorn; sisters, Eunice Brockman, Florence Woldt, Rosella Erns t, Charlotte Koerner, Patricia (Eric) Jack, and Beatrice (Gene) Otto; a nd a sister-in-law, Loretta Dorn.He is preceded in death by his brother, Edwin Dorn and a sister, Esther M ae Krull.The funeral liturgy will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at ST. T HERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 312 E. Wisconsin Ave., Appleton, with Fr. Willi am Hoffman officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 9:30 a .m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Mem orial Park.
