    Obituary:
    Ruth E. Spietz, 80, Green Bay, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at a local nursing home. She was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Seymour, to the late Eiche and Minnie (Haefs) Krause.
    She is survived by her daughter, Carol Knapowski, Green Bay; a grandson, Eric Knapowski, Green Bay; one sister, Rogene Spietz, Brillion; one brother, Darwin Krause, Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Spietz; her parents; one brother, Robert Krause; and her sister, Marlene Schmidt.
    According the family's wishes, no services will be held. Burial will be in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Wrightstown.
    The daughter of Ruth E. Spietz wishes to extend to special word of thanks to the staff and nurses at San Luis Health & Rehabilitation Center for the care they have shown to her mother.
    Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.

    Spietz, Rogene Ann Krause
    Rogene Ann Krause Spietz, 78, of Brillion, passed away peacefully at Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Holstein after a lengthy illness. She was born May 31, 1929, to Minnie (Haefs) and Eiche Krause in the Town of Seymour, WI. She graduated from Seymour High School in 1947. On September 3, 1949, Rogene & Gerhardt were united in marriage at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. Rogene was employed at the Ariens Company in Brillion from 1965-1991. She was a longtime member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brillion.
    She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gerhardt; five children: Linda (Bill) Benner, Amberg; David (Lois) Spietz, Saukville; Luanne White, Menasha; Mark (Jane) Spietz, Oshkosh; Susan Spietz, Amberg; nine grandchildren: Robert Lenz, William Benner III, Christopher (Candi) Spietz, Rebecca (Paul) Clements, Katherine Spietz, Nathan (Sara) White, Shaun White, Lindsey Spietz, Alicia Spietz; four great-grandchildren: Clayton Benner, Jayden Spietz, Jonathon Spietz, Paxton Clements; a brother, Darwin (Mary) Krause and other family members.
    She was preceded in death by an infant son, Larry George Spietz, a brother Robert Krause, two sisters: Marlene Schmidt and Ruth (William) Spietz and a granddaughter, Tanya Benner.
    A celebration of Rogene's life will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at NOON at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brillion, with Pastor Ross Henzi officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Wrightstown.
    Rogene's family would like to thank the staff of Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Holstein for their compassionate and excellent care of Rogene for the past two years and also Pastor Ross Henzi and the ladies of the church.
    The Wieting Funeral Home of Brillion is assisting the Spietz family with arrangements.
