    Wilz, Earl P.Earl P. Wilz, Appleton, age 91, passed away at his home on Thursday, Septe mber 29, 2005. Earl was born December 16, 1913 in Appleton, the son of t he late Edward and Katherine Wilz. He was formerly employed by Kimberly-Cl ark Corp. for 26 years retiring in 1976. Earl was united in marriage to Ka therine Smith on January 9, 1946, sharing 43 years together before her dea th in 1989.Earl was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army. He was a me mber of St. Pius X Catholic Church.Survivors include two sons: James (Karen) Wilz and John Wilz both of Apple ton; three grandchildren: Ashley, Amanda, and Allison, two brothers: Clare nce (Adeline) Wilz of Neenah; and Donald (Vivian) Wilz of Appleton; a sist er, Rita Dercks of Appleton; brother-in-law, Richard Gerritts of Merrill.In addition to his parents and wife, Earl was preceded in death by a so n, Ronald and four sisters: Gladys Gerritts, Doris Knoel, Marion Van Hou t, and Helen Sexten.The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Octob er 1 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St., with Fr. Tom Far rell officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 9 a.m. Satu rday until the time of the service. Burial will take place at St. Joseph C emetery.

    Clarence Henry Wilz, 96, of Neenah passed away early Friday, October 14, 2016. He was born on May 19, 1920. Clarence married Adeline (Burmeister) on July 10, 1948. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp in England during WWII. Clarence enjoyed living on the lake where he could pursue his love of boating and fishing. He also had a passion for hunting and being outdoors.
    Clarence is survived by his wife of 68 years Adeline Wilz; daughters Lynn (Steve) Polman and Terri Jo (Thomas) Graverson; five grandchildren: Angela Polman (John Cliff), Todd (Christa) Graverson, Nicholas (Jessica) Polman, Troy (Leah) Graverson, and Trisha (Rob) Ruys; eight great-grandchildren; sister Rita Dercks; and sister-in-law Vivian Wilz.
    He was preceded in death by his daughter Kathryn "Kay" Wilz; four sisters: Helen (Charles) Sexton, Marion (William) Van Hoot, Doris (Raymond) Noel, and Gladys (Richard) Gerrits; and two brothers Earl (Catherine) Wilz and Donald Wilz.
    The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Roger Genske for his continued spiritual support.
    The Funeral Mass for Clarence will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at St. Gabriel Parish, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah with Rev. Larry Seidl officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the mass. Full Military Honors will follow the service with the Neenah Menasha Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Clarence's memory. He will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery.

    Donald J. Wilz, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2010, at home in Appleton. Donald was born in Appleton, on November 6, 1922, son of the late Edward and Katherine (Biese) Wilz. He married Vivian Halloran on July 20, 1942.
    Donald proudly served in the United States Army from 1943 until 1945 in the South Pacific Infantry. He was awarded the Silver Star. After his service, Donald worked for Northern Boiler Works until 1950 and for Kimberly-Clark from 1950 until he retired in 1985. During that time, Donald also worked as a master plumber.
    He loved bowling and the outdoors, especially fishing and camping with his family. Donald was also very proud of his big garden.
    Donald is survived by his wife of 68 years, Vivian; six children, Linda Barna, Appleton; Dick Wilz, Kimberly; Jerry (Janet) Wilz, Greenville, S.C.; Dave (Andrea) Wilz, Appleton; Tom Wilz, Appleton; and Susan (Larry) Kluball, Appleton; nine grandchildren, Laura (Eric) Gilgenbach, Sara (Joe) Charlier, Richard (Jeannine) Wilz, Michelle Wilz, Chad (Tracee) Wilz, Scott Wilz, Lauren Wilz, Drew Wilz and Lisa Bouge; 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; a sister, Rita Dercks; and a brother, Clarence (Adaline) Wilz.
    He was further preceded in death by three grandchildren, Christie and Craig Wilz and Jenny Topel; four sisters, Helen (Charles) Sexton, Marion (William) Van Hout, Doris (Raymond) Noel and Gladys (Richard) Gerretts; and a brother, Earl (Catherine) Wilz.
    Private family funeral services will be held.

    James P. Wilz, 66 of Appleton, died unexpectedly on Thursday February 28, 2013. He was born in Appleton September 16, 1946, son of the late Earl and Katherine (Smith) Wilz. James married Karen Ellenbecker on April 20, 1985.
    James worked for Appleton Mills/Voith Fabric for 34 years, retiring in 2004. James was an avid bowler. He loved to fish, play cards and games. James was loved by many and he always came up with the best one-liners for a good laugh.
    James is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Karen; a brother, John Wilz (special friend, Kris), Appleton; sister-in-law, Shirley Ellenbecker, Appleton; brother-in-law, John (Mary) Ellenbecker, Appleton; his extended family, Bob and Sue Lee, Appleton, Rich and Debbie Logan, Appleton; and several other relatives and friends.     John T. Wilz, 63 of Appleton passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday May 14, 2013, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Appleton, February 22, 1950, son of the late, Earl and Katherine (Smith) Wilz. John met his soul mate, Kris Laabs in 1993.
    John worked for Appleton Mills (Voith Fabric) for 38 years, retiring in 2005. He had a love of sports, playing softball and bowling for many years. John was an avid Brewer fan like his father, and had a great love for the Packers.
    John is survived by his soul mate, Kris; three daughters, Ashley (Travis) Dern, Amanda Wilz, and Allison (Joe) Munes; seven grandchildren, Avin, Riley, Zea, Diamond, Nevaeh, Matthew, and Jessica; Kris' children, Andy Johann, Deb (James) King, and Barry Laabs; and his beloved dog, Gracie. John was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Ronnie.

    Racine - In 1941, Pat came into this world as the second oldest daughter of seven children. Growing up in Kimberly, WI, she was an avid cheerleader at all her high school basketball and football games, twirled baton in the school band and participated in the debate club. She attended St. Norbert's college as one of the first women in her family to pursue an advanced degree, a difficult task for a woman in the 1960's. While obtaining her Bachelor's degree in education, she shared her exuberance for life as a St. Norbert's cheerleader and sorority sister at Delta Zeta, graduating with honors as a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma. After college, Pat began her teaching career in rural Kiln, Mississippi which she later took pride in as the birthplace of her favorite Packer player, Brett Favre. She taught at Holy Name in Kimberly and then went onto to teach for 8 years in Racine, WI where she met her ex-husband Jim Dickert and gave birth to three daughters, Heidi, Heather and Holly. At the age of 41 she went back to school and received her masters in Social work. She was a social worker for 20 years in Racine Unified School District and gave numerous Peacemakers workshops throughout the country. Throughout this time and into her retirement, Pat enjoyed leading international group trips around the world to such places as China, Kenya, Vietnam, Russia, Peru and many more. Leading by her own example, Pat raised her daughters to be strong, independent, ambitious woman with the same passion of helping others as well as traveling the world. In 2004 and 2007, she became a proud grandmother to Ellena and Brayden Moore. Pat was well known by her friends for volunteering at Women Reaching Women, Center for Community Concern, Junior League of Racine, St. Patrick;s Parish, the Racine Theater Guild, and hosting wonderful dinners and parties for various organizations such as the Vagabounds.
    Pat is survived by her three daughters (Heidi Dickert, Heather Dickert, Holly Moore), beloved son-in-law Tom Moore and two grandchildren (Ellena Moore and Brayden Moore). She is also survived by her five siblings and their spouses Joyce (Larry) Casey, Nancy (Joe) Michel, Kathy Heier Hanson, Judi (Dennis) Janssen, and Bill (Julie) VanHout.
    A Mass will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018, 10:30 A.M. at St Mary by the Lake Catholic Church, 7605 Lakeshore Drive, Racine, with Rev. Marty Pable officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24th from 4-7pm at Maresh-Meredith and Acklam Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 10:30 A.M.
    The family would like to thank Sharon Ingles, Kay Tonkin, Kimberly Mathews, Monique Monroe, Katie Rannow and the countless other friends that provided loving care to Pat in her later years.     Jennifer Marie (Wilz) Topel, age 36, died unexpectedly Monday, August 13, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. Jennifer was born on July 7, 1971, to David and Andrea (Cartwright) Wilz in Appleton. She married Tom Topel on July 20, 1996. Jenny worked at the Paper Valley Hotel for over 10 years as an accountant and part time at Gordman's. She enjoyed camping, fishing and especially shopping and spending time with her family. Jenny also loved her animals, her dog Zoey and her cat Kitty.
    Jenny is survived by her husband Tom; her son, Tyler Wilz, her parents, two brothers: Scott (Tina) Wilz, Kaukauna; Chad (Tracee) Wilz, Appleton. She is further survived by her paternal grandparents, Donald and Vivian Wilz, Appleton and many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
    Jenny was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Gerald and Elayne Cartwright and her aunt Lynne Salzman.
    Service for Jennifer will be 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at Valley Funeral Home, with Deacon Rick Simon officiating. Her family will receive visitors from 3 p.m. until the time of service, also at Valley Funeral Home. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family will be establishing a memorial fund in Jenny's name.

    Princess Peapod received her heavenly crown on Thursday, May 31, 2012, after a courageous battle against cancer. Laurie Rae was born on January 18, 1966, to James Ray and Barbara (Noel) Coenen. She was an Appleton area resident all her life and currently lived in Menasha. Laurie was employed at Plexus for over twenty years and then worked at Surface Mount Technology until the time of her illness.
    Laurie loved picnics and blowing bubbles, but most of all she loved her family and friends. She will be especially missed by her loving son: Jesse Michael and Kayla (Roe) Hillsberg, New London; her caring mother: Barbara Coenen, Appleton; her brother and good friend: Michael James Coenen, Appleton; her special friend: Daniel McMahon, Menasha; best friends: Angie Greene and her sons; David Schmitting; and Travis Hafemann, "her other son"; aunts and uncles: Carol (Mike) Laux; Joan (Randy) Kiefer; Brian (Sherry) Noel; Donald Coenen; Gerald (Marilyn) Coenen; Roger (Gloria) Coenen; Judy (Richard Eichhorn) Coenen-Eichhorn; and many cousins.
    Laurie was welcomed to Heaven by her father, James Coenen; grandparents: Ray and Ruby Coenen; Ray and Doris Noel; her aunt, Joann Coenen; cousins: Douglas and Steven Coenen.
    The funeral service for Laurie will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Wichmann Funeral Home with Fr. William Hoffman officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
    Princess, your smile lit up our lives for 46 years and you will be missed.
