    Ethel A Mooren, 90, De Pere was guided into the arms of the heavenly angels on November 21, 2012. Ethel was born on September 5, 1922 in Oneida Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Albert and Eva Van Den Heuvel. She married the late Joseph G. Mooren on June 1, 1944. They farmed in the Town of Oneida for many years until their retirement in 1975. Ethel was a devoted member of our Lady of Lourdes Parish. She had a passion for volunteering at St. Joe's Food Pantry, St. Vincent De Paul and St. Elizabeth hospital. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, family gatherings, and playing cards. Everyone who knew Ethel knew the rosary was always an integral part of her life.
    Survivors include seven children and their spouses: son, Ray (Nancy) Mooren, De Pere, children Tim, Terry (Kathy), Tracie Cygan, Troy (Nicole); son-in-law Bruce Orey, San Antonio Texas; daughter, Rosann (Gary) Weihing, Center Valley, children Kevin, Dale, Dawn (Jeremy) Cayemberg; son, Al, (Cheryl) Mooren, De Pere, children William (Emily), Todd (Tonia), Tammy (Jeremy) Johnson; son, Carl (Dianne) Mooren, De Pere, children Joe (Sarah), Brian (Mellisa), Greg (Molly); son, Bob Mooren, (fiancé Mary Bastian), Kaukauna, children Mandy (Brent) Weinmann, Bobbie (Brad) Hendricks, Adam (Amy), Shannon (Chris) Hayes; daughter, Mary Jo (Bill) Schuh, Kaukauna, children Bill (Kari), Dan (Alissa), Chris (Josh) Minzlaff; daughter, Nancy (Steve) Krahn, Seymour, children Jenny (special friend, Brent Benjamin), Angie (special friend, Brandon Kuchta), Ryan. Ethel is also survived by thirty-one great grandchildren; one sister Bernice (Gordy) Trinkner, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her daughter, Theresa Orey, a grandson, Jason Kussow, her parents, brothers, Ray and Irvin Van Den Heuvel, and sister, Marlene Kocken, as well as Mooren in-laws Norbert, Henry, and Sylvester, De Pere, and two sisters-in-laws, Elizabeth Willems and Helen Becks.
    Friends and family may call Monday, November 26 at OUR LADY OF LOURDES PARISH, 1305 Lourdes Avenue in De Pere from 3:00 PM until time of service at 6:00 PM with Father Tim Shillcox, O. Praem. presiding.
    Special thanks to Ray and Nancy Mooren for opening their home and hearts to Mom for seven years to allow her to enjoy life to the fullest. Words cannot express how the family appreciated their generosity.
    Mom also had a very special bond with Mary Lawrence who was more than just a caregiver. Mary became her best friend, confidant and spiritual guide to the end.
    Special thanks also goes to Father Tim Shillcox, Dr. Lasecki, the staff at Rebekah Haven Assisted Living, Medical staff at Bellin, and the caring staff of Astor Terrace Rehabilitation Center.
    We will always remember your words Mom, "carry a rosary in your pocket".
