    Biography:
    JOSEPH J. SCHINDLER, an industrious, well-to-do farmer of Buchanan township, was born in Outagamie county, Wisconsin, August 25, 1861, and is now operating a farm of forty acres located in section 28. He is a son of Gregory and Rosina Schindler, natives of Austria, who were married in that country and came to America during the '50s. On first coming here they settled in Menasha, later moved to Black Creek township, but eventually went to Appleton, where they purchased a farm of 160 acres located at East Menasha, Winnebago county. There they spent the remainder of their lives and both are buried in St. Mary's cemetery at Menasha.This worthy couple had a family of seven children, of whom Joseph J. was the youngest. At the time of his father's death he took charge of the homestead farm which he operated for about ten years and in the fall of 1898 bought his present property. He has his land all in a high state of cultivation and fenced with barbed wire, and he carries on general farming and markets dairy products and cabbages and some cattle and milks five graded Holstein cows.He also engages to some extent in horse breeding, keeping principally the French Coach breed. He is a Democrat in his political views, and with his family attends the Presbyterian Church at Kimberly. On August 14, 1890, Mr. Schindler was united in marriage with Miss Catherine Williams, who was born April 6, 1869, the seventh of the ten children born to David P. and Margaret (Jones) Williams, who came to America from Wales as young people and were married at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Later they settled at Neenah, Winnebago county, on a farm, and there lived during the remainder of their lives, both being buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Neenah. Seven children have been born to Mr. and Mrs. Schindler, namely: Margaret Rose, Rachel Cecelia, Esther Mary Jane, David Gregory, Franklin Thomas, Grace Nancy and Willard John Andrew.

    George Foley, 60, town of Harrison, died at his home at 4:15 Saturday afternoon after a 9-day illness. Pneumonia was the cause of
    death. Born in the town of Harrison Nov. 22, 1878, he lived there all his life. He was a member of the Holy Name society and the Sacred Heart
    society of Sacred Heart church, Appleton. Survivors are the widow; one daughter,. Lucille, at home: three sons, Sylvester. Menasha: David and
    George, Jr., at home; one brother. Frank,, Appleton; one sister. Mrs. Katherine Howard, Seattle, Wash. The funeral will be held at 8:30
    Tuesday morning at Schommer Funeral Home with services at 9 'clock at Sacred Heart church. Burial will be in the St Mary cemetery.
    The Rev. F. L. Ruessmann will be in charge. The body will be at the funeral home from this afternoon to the hour of services. Prayers

On Janu ary 20th, 1940, David married Alice Sommers at St. Peters Catholic Chur ch in Hortonville, and the couple enjoyed 54 years together until her dea th on October 7, 1994. He owned and operated Acme Frame & Axle in Applet on for close to 40 years until his retirement in 1980. David was very fait hful to his church, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. He was a memb er of the Third Order of St. Francis, the Monte Alverno Retreat House Guil d, and also volunteered at St. Joseph Food Pantry.     James Schindler Malcolm, 77, of Orange Texas, died Monday, August 22, 2011, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
    Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Orange with Reverend John W. Warren officiating. Visitation will begin at noon prior to the service at the church. Cremation will follow at Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.
    Born in Kimberly on January 24, 1934, James was son of Alex and Esther (Schindler) Malcolm. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. James was very active in the choir and was a member of the Golden Kiwanis.
    Preceded in death by his parents and Peggy Malcolm, James is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Alma Malcolm of Spring; daughter and son-in-law Karry and Darryl Craus of Village Mills; son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Annette Malcolm of Orange; and son David Malcolm of Frisco.
    He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jonathan, Sean and Chloe Craus, George Rodriguez, Emily, Peggy and Jimmy Malcolm; sister, Jane VanGeffen of Appleton; brother Al Malcolm of Phoenix; and special friend, Betty James of Orange.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 502 N. Sixth Street, Orange, Texas 77630.

    DeDecker, (Clare) Jill 214 Jane Court Neenah Age 65, died Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at her home. She was born March 31, 1937 in Appleton; daughter of Albert and Cecile (Morrow) Albrecht. Jill married Ben DeDecker, August 3, 1960 in Appleton. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Jill was a regular swimmer at "joint efforts" at the YMCA and excelled at arts and crafts. Among other things, Jill was known for her fun loving nature and ability to make others laugh.
    Jill is survived by her husband, Ben; her children: Paul (Shadia) DeDecker, Clinton Township, Michigan; Cheryl DeDecker (Craig Schwalenberg), Chicago; two grandchildren: Natalia and Athena Marie DeDecker, Clinton Township; a brother and two sisters-in-law: James (Annie) Albrecht, Combined Locks; and Donna Albrecht, Appleton. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles "Chuck" Albrecht; and a sister, Joy Ashauer.

She is also survived by many extended family members. Judy and Randy were wed on May 24, 1972 in Kimberly, WI. Judy graduated from UW-Oshkosh and became a teacher. In 1984 Judy became a Realtor in Chicago and later Dallas. Her greatest passion in life was educating and helping others.
    Judy loved gardening, cooking, traveling, reading, friends, education, her real estate career and above all, her family.
    Judy loved and was loved. This was especially evident in her 5 year battle with cancer.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society , Faith Presbyterian Hospice or CCPC VBS Program.

    Memorial Services to be held at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church (CCPC), 3901 N. Star Road, Richardson, TX 75082 on March 1, 2014 at 1 PM with a lunch reception to follow.

    Obituary:
    Appleton - Daniel J. Albrecht, 51, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 25, 1966, in Appleton, the son of Charles and DonnaMae (Christen) Albrecht. Dan enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, watching movies and the Green Bay Packers, martial arts, and listening to music. He loved his work in the kitchen at Touchmark Assisted Living facility. Daniel faced many challenges throughout his life but he fought through them all without a complaint.
    Daniel is survived by his 4 siblings: Charles (Jo Ellen) Albrecht, David (Linda) Albrecht, Debra Albrecht, and Glenn Albrecht; nieces and nephew: Amy (Anthony) Bruns, Jennifer Albrecht, and Allen (Amber) Albrecht; numerous cousins, and other close relatives.
    Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.
    Funeral services will be at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2017, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton, with Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. Inurnment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established.
    Daniel's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of ThedaCare Medical Center, Appleton, and the staff of ThedaCare Cancer Center, Appleton for their wonderful care and compassion.
