Obituary:
Emery Geiger, age 73, died Saturday at St Vincents Hospital, Green Bay. He was born September 23, 1905 in the town of Maple Grove. Mr Geiger was the son of the late John and Mary (Breuhl) Geiger He married Rose Schamburek on July 31, 1935 in Whitelaw. Mr Geiger farmed in the town of Maple Grove until 1967 and then was employed at the Ariens Co. for a few years. He was a member of St Mary Catholic Church, Brillion and the Catholic Knights. Survivors include his wife Rose, two daughters, Mrs Rodney (Rosemary) Holzschuh, Combined Locks, Mrs Jean Meetz, Appleton; six grandchildren, Nancy Linda, Sharon, James, John and Joel; three sisters; Mrs Fred (Mary) Cummings, Chicago; Mrs William (Tillie) Fischer, Brillion; Mrs Frank (Cecilia) Pritzl, Manitowoc; two brothers; George and John, both of Brillion. He was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. The complete funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, and at 11 a.m. at St Mary Catholic Church, Brillion, with the Rev John O'Brien officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the Wieting Funeral Home, until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. A parish vigil will be at 8 p.m. Monday.
