    Ruth Gosse, age 86, of Appleton, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014. She was born on December 12, 1927 in Shiocton to the late Peter and Grace (Cooney) Friemuth. She enjoyed traveling, taking trips with her sisters, where they were known to play some dice games. Most important to her was spending time with her family, especially the little ones.
    She is survived by her nine children; Dennis Gosse, Doug (Mary) Gosse, Dianne Fischer, Jerry (Charlotte) Gosse, Debra (Rick) Banker, Darrell (Debra) Gosse, John (Linda) Gosse, Kevin Gosse and Steve (Karen) Gosse, four brothers; Eugene (Sherry) Friemuth, James (Marcella) Friemuth, Ronald (Judi) Friemuth and Donald (Lynn) Friemuth, five sisters; Lois (Don) Peeters, Loraine (Marvin) Schellpfeffer, Lucille (Robert) Letter, Carol (Jim) Diemel and Barbara (Rodney) Hillsberg. She is further survived by a brother in law, Wayne Price as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Travis Banker, two brothers; David and Rodger Friemuth, and three sisters; Margaret (Don) Lund, Ethel Price and June Friemuth.
    Funeral service for Ruth will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at 1:00pm at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St, Appleton. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 11:00am until the time of service. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
    In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's name may be made to Michael J Fox Parkinson's Research fund, www.michaeljfox.org.
    The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses at Rennes Health Center and Jill with Heartland Hospice for their excellent care and concern for Ruth.

    Eugene Walter Freimuth, age 85, passed away on June 28, 2015. He was born on March 22, 1930 to the late Walter Freimuth and Grace (Cooney) Freimuth. Eugene grew up on a farm in the Black Creek area, the second of 15 children. He graduated from Shiocton High School in 1948, and trained at Great Lakes Naval Base, then onto San Diego where he served on the USS Curtis. After navy training he went to work at Marathon Corp., when he met the love of his life Sherry Young. After Gene and Sherry married in 1951, Eugene was employed by Zwicker Knitting Mill where he worked for 42 years. Following his employment Eugene and Sherry enjoyed many experiences with their ten children, 24 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
    He is survived by his wife Sherry of 64 years and children: Vernon (Carol); Regina (Raymond) Reimann and sons Scott (Jolene), David (Alicia), and Gregory (Brynn); Keith Freimuth and children Chris (Jackie), Jason (Faye), Sarah, and Nathanial (Tiffany); Donna (Robert) Behnke and son Robert (Jenny); Wayne Freimuth (Irmadene) and his sons Nick (Karen) and Adam (Ashley); Steve (Kim) and two daughters Hayley and Mckinzie; Mark (Nancy) and children, Rory and Peter; Glen (Deidre) and children Michael (Sara), Samantha (Carlos) Avila, Joseph, and Katie; Paula (Randy) Young and children Tony and Abby; and Karl (Andrea) and sons Evan, Connor, and Griffin. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W. Lawrence Street, Appleton with Fr. Jim Leary O.F.M. Cap. officiating. An additional time of visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.     Roger J. Freimuth, age 77, Manawa died on Sunday, January 5, 2014, surrounded by his loving family, at Appleton Medical Center from a lengthy 17 year battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He was born on November 21, 1936, Town of Bovina, son of the late Walter and Grace (Cooney) Freimuth. Roger graduated from Shiocton High School in 1955. He served his country in the US Army in Korea. On September 7, 1957, he was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Verlee Young at St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton. He worked as an inspector at Appleton Wire Works for 41 years. Roger enjoyed country music, western movies, cards, bowling and dice games. He loved to dance and was always the life of the party. Roger and his wife attended the Hodag Country Music Festival in Rhinelander for 26 years in a row.

Visitation will be held at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. and also at the church on Thursday from 9:00 am. until the time of service. Military rites will follow the Mass. Burial will be in the Appleton Highland Memorial Park.

    She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Abraham and Esther (Herminath) Young and her paternal grandparents, Walter and Grace (Cooney) Freimuth.
    The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 28, 2011, at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 East Lourdes Drive, Appleton, with Fr. David Kelly, O.F.M. officiating. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. A memorial has been established in Carla's name.
    The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Agape Group Home II, Dr. Honey Bermas, the staff at the Seikman Cancer Center at AMC, the staff of ThedaCare at Home Hospice and Cherry Meadows, for their loving care.

    Patricia Ann "Patty" (Freimuth) Torres, age 49, passed away Oct. 1, 2013. Patty was born on November 20, 1963 in Appleton, daughter of Roger and Verlee (Young) Freimuth. She served her country as a member of the US Army. On June 9, 1996 she married Jesse Torres in California. They cherished 17 years of married life. Patty loved helping other people, attending car shows, and trips to Lake Tahoe and the ocean. She also loved visiting Sequoia National Park and seeing the giant redwood trees. Even after all the years she has lived in California, she always remained a Packer Fan. She worked for Tulare County Social Security office until her disability prevented her from working.
    Patty is survived by her husband, Jesse. Her sisters, Vickie (Bob) Teal, Green Bay Rhonda, (Jay) Nelson, Shiocton, Brothers; Rodney (Teresa) Freimuth, Freedom and Russell (Cathy) Freimuth, Appleton. Her mother-in-law Lupe Pendergraft, Brother-in-Law Santos and Clementi Torres. She is further survived by five nephews, four nieces and numerous loving and caring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Abraham and Esther (Herminath) Young and her paternal grandparents, Walter and Grace (Cooney) Freimuth. Her sister Carla Marie Freimuth, her father-in-law Tom Pendergraft.
    She will be sadly missed by her Husband Jesse, her parents and her family also her precious dogs, Baby (whom Patty taught to say "I Love You") and GeGe and her cat Zoey.
    Funeral services for Patty will be held at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton on Sat. Oct. 12, 2013 at 12:00 pm. There will be a visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
