    Piette, John A.John Piette, of Kimberly, age 59, died suddenly at his home early on Thurs day, January 12, 2006. John was born September 6, 1946, in Appleton, the s on of Aurelia (Hill) Piette of Appleton and the late Stanley "Dan" Piett e. On May 25, 1968, John married the former Barbara Van Nuland in Kimberl y; she survives. John spent his entire working career in the commercial co nstruction field. He traveled the entire country managing countless maj or projects. In 2003, he and his son started their own development compan y, Platinum Property Development. Though work required his nearly consta nt attention, he did enjoy fishing, especially his annual September trip w ith Barb to Lake Winnibagosh in Minnesota. His grandchildren were the appl es of his eye, and he enjoyed spending time with them just being "BuppaJohn is survived by his wife, Barbara Piette of Kimberly; his mother, Aure lia Piette of Appleton; two children: Lori (Dave) Vannett of Menasha and t heir son Jacob; and Jeff (Sarah) Piette of Kaukauna and their children All ison and Emily; a sister, Sharon Piette of Milwaukee; two brothers: Bru ce (Sandy) Piette of Black Creek and Bill (Robin) Piette of South Milwauke e; two brothers-in-law: Tom (Pat) Van Nuland of Combined Locks and Jerry V an Nuland of Appleton; a sister-in-law, Mary Kay (Bill) Kaufman of Neena h; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.He was preceded in death by his father, as well as by Barb's parents, Anto ne and Marie (Ver Voort) Van Nuland.The funeral liturgy for John will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Janua ry 14, 2006, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH - KIMBERLY, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue wi th Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Pa rk. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. unt il the hour of the service.
