Obituary:
Arthur Roehl, age 92, Appleton, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Parkside Care Center in Little Chute. Arthur was born February 5, 1921 to the late Anthony and Charlotte (Young) Roehl. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Arthur worked as a millworker/trimmer for Rosenow Paper in Menasha. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Arthur is survived by his sister: Helen Jansch, Kaukauna and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother: Robert (Jeannette) Roehl and a sister, Jeannette (Henry) Seidl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St. Friends may visit at the church Thursday from 5:00 pm until the time of service. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
A special thank you to Heartland Hospice for providing peace and comfort to him as well as his caregivers who became family at Parkside Care Center. You all were a true blessing to him.
