    Obituary:
    Genevieve Josephine Schulz, 98, passed away surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in Shawano. She was born on April 4, 1915 in Tilleda, WI; daughter of the late A.P. and Margaret (Kronser) Stengel. She married Merton A. Schulz on May 19, 1936 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville. They celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary before Merton preceded her in death on May 3, 2011.
    Gen grew up in Medina, WI where her father operated a general store. After moving to Appleton, she lived her entire life there until Merton passed away and she moved to Shawano to be closer to family. Gen was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church for over 40 years. She was a devoted volunteer with several organizations in the area including many years with the St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary. She was an avid card player, loved playing Sheephead and enjoyed her walks at the YMCA, but was best known for her incredible baking skills.
    She is survived by her children, Gene (Lynn) Schulz, Wausau and Janice (John) Bark, Shawano; six grandchildren, Kathleen (David) Vanden Boogaard, Little Chute, Lisa (John) Towns, Mt. Horeb, Peter (Erin) Schulz, Greenville, Paul Schulz, Chicago, Brian (Lanita) Schulz, Spring Green and Julie (Jerry) Buntrock, Shawano; step-grandson, Eric Indgier, Wausau; 14 great grandchildren, Ross and Ben Vanden Boogaard, Becky (Daryn) Allen, Adam and Jason Towns, Sam, Alex, Grant, Madeline, McKenna, Noah and Isaiah Schulz and Lydia and Isaac Buntrock; one great great grandchild, Dawson Allen; brother-in-law, Gerald Rink; sister-in-law, Joyce Stengel; many nieces, nephews and mother of five grandchildren, Judy Brooks Schulz.
    Gen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; granddaughter, Sue Ellen Bark; brothers, Sylvester (Milly) Stengel and Clarence Stengel; sisters, Eleanor (Bill) Kavanaugh, Margaret (Andy) Koutalis and Mary Ann Rink; brothers-in-law, Donald (Ella) Schulz and Arlyn (Wilma) Schulz; sisters-in-law, Anita (Floyd) Zimmer and infant, Bernice and her father and mother-in-law, William and Sadie (Raprager) Schulz.
    A Funeral Mass for Gen will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 213 E. Wisconsin Ave., Appleton with the Rev. William Hoffman officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. A memorial fund is being established.     Dorothy L. Hampp, of Appleton, age 77, passed away with her family at her side on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at The Gardens of Fountain Way. She was born on February 22, 1932, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Earl and Vanila (Krueger) Laux. On July 30, 1955, she married Rudolph Hampp at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Menasha. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, gardening, canning, fishing and flowers. She loved spending time with family and friends.
    Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Rudolph Hampp, Appleton; children: Shelly (Mark) Konrad, Menasha; Rick (Lori) Hampp, New London, and Jason (significant other Melissa Reppert) Hampp, Appleton; grandchildren: Heather (Jared) Polley, Justin Konrad and Kurtis Konrad; Melissa Rudie, Kirsten (Andrew) Belonger and Kenny Hampp; great-granddaughter: Grace Belonger; brother-in-law: Albert (Irmgard) Hampp, Germany; special cousins: Roger (Jackie) Weyenberg, Jan Linskens and Ron (Sandy) Weyenberg. She is further survived by her German exchange friend, Claudia Meier, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbors and friends.
    Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bud Laux, sister-in-law Lilli (John) Weller and cousin Bob Linskens.
    The memorial service for Dorothy will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL with Fr. Robert Karuhn officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
    The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Heartland Hospice and The Gardens of Fountain Way for taking care of Dorothy and Rudy. A special thanks to Dr. David Anderla and his staff for their excellent care and compassion.
