Longsine, Carlton R. "Dick"Carlton R. "Dick" Longsine, 69, Green Bay, died Monday, March l3, 2006, fo llowing a strong, courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 30, l93 6, in Oconto to Inez (Gunderson) Longsine and the late Joseph Longsine. Di ck was a well respected man who enjoyed life and lived each day to the ful lest. He was proud of his children and grandchildren and loved his famil y. Dick was an avid Packers fan. Through the years he spent on Broadwa y, he made many lasting friendships and memories.Survivors include his children and their spouses: Terri and Scott Jung, Wa terford; Samuel and Lori Longsine, Kaukauna; Melissa Baldwin and her fianc e, Scott Martens, both of Green Bay; his life long companion, Clara Lanne t, Green Bay; his mother, Inez Longsine, Oconto; his grandchildren: Ada m, David and his fiancee, Kim Cannon, Brittany, Nicholaus, Lucas, Haley; h is brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Bev Longsine, Kaukauna; his two s isters and brothers-in-law: Donna and Tom Berg, Sussex; Lorraine and Pe te Burby, Crivitz; nieces and nephews; his cousins, Neil and Jack McNult y; and other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his father, his brother and sister-in-law, Do ug and Joyce Longsine.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, fr om 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Steven Fewell officiatin g. Burial will be in Oconto, WI. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has be en established in Dick's name.The family would like to thank the caring staffs of Unity Hospice and Gre en Bay Oncology.
