    Gloria M. Hash, Appleton, 79, went home to the Lord at Appleton Medical Ce nter on Friday, April 21, 2006. She was born in Kimberly on September 1, 1 926, daughter of the late John and Sylvia (Meulemans) Van Den Elsen. Glor ia was married to Robert Kobussen for 25 years and then to Robert Hash f or 29 years. Both preceded her in death. Gloria was proud to be a homemak er and took great pride in raising her eight children. She was a wonderf ul cook and loved to sew.
    Gloria is survived by her children: Peg (John) Ponfil of Darboy; Gene (Lau ra) Kobussen of Little Chute; Mary Jo (Lee) Hammen of Kimberly; Debbie Her bst of West Bend (special friend, Bob Duchow); Sue (Rob) Ristau of Kimberl y; Pat (Bob) Hoffman of Park Falls; Rick (Cindy) Kobussen of Kaukauna; a nd Dan (Cheri) Kobussen of Kimberly; grandchildren: Johnna (Todd) Brown, J odi (Paul) Bartel, Missy Ponfil, Molly Ponfil, Michelle Omar, Mike (Stepha nie) Kobussen, Lee (Claire) Hammen, Lori (Jimmy) Henderson, Brad Hammen, S cott Herbst, Ryan Herbst, Eric (Kelly) Ristau, Jenelle Ristau, Adam (Dan i) Hoffman, Keshia Hoffman, Kristi Kobussen, Katie Kobussen; 13 great-gran dchildren; brothers and sisters: Ken (Marie) Van Elsen, Raymond "Bud" (Mar lene) Van Den Elsen, and Muriel (Bob) Frank.
    She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Kobussen, and her husband R obert Hash, her parents; and her sister, Erna (Percy) Spice.
    The funeral Mass will be at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at St. Jo hn Catholic Church, 323 Pine St, Little Chute, with Fr. Patrick Beno offic iating. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. unt il the time of the Mass. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chut e.
    The family extends a special thank you to Gloria's caregivers, family, fri ends, and all who kept Gloria close in prayer.
    A memorial fund in Gloria's name is being established.

    Margaret "Peg" Ponfil, Village of Harrison, age 69, died Friday June 6, 2014 at her home. She was born in Little Chute on October 29, 1944 to the late Gloria (VanDenElsen) Kobussen-Hash and Robert Kobussen. Peg married John Ponfil on October 29, 1966 at Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Kimberly. Peg was an avid reader but when she wasn't reading, she was doing anything creative. Card-making, handmade crafts, cooking, and baking. Everyone loved receiving her creations as much as she enjoyed making them. Peg was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and her daily devotions were an integral part of her life.
    Peg is survived by her husband of 47 years, John; children: Johnna (Todd) Brown, Black Creek; Jodi (Paul) Bartel, Combined Locks; Melissa Ponfil, Appleton; and Molly Ponfil, Kimberly; grandchildren: Steffani and Samantha Brown, Lukas and Brynn Bartel; sibings: Eugene "Butch" (Laura) Kobussen, Mary Jo (Lee) Hammen, Debbie Herbst, Sue (Rob) Ristau, Patricia (Robert) Hoffman, Rick (Cindy) Kobussen and Dan Kobussen; brothers-in-law Joe Ponfil (Roxy) and Jerry Ponfil. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents, Peg was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Sue; step father, Robert Hash; and John's parents, John and Florence Ponfil.
    Visitation will be held Monday June 9, 2014 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Ronald Beliltz will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery.
