    Eunice Lubinski, age 84, of Appleton, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at The Bridges of Appleton. She was born on January 19, 1930, in Clintonville, the daughter of the late Harry and Flossie (Radtke) Schmidt. Eunice was a secretary at Marion High School prior to her marriage on June 6, 1951, to James Lubinski at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marion. She enjoyed being an Avon sales lady for 40 years and working in the cafeteria at Lawrence University. Eunice was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Appleton.
    Eunice is survived by her children: Craig (Loraine) Lubinski, Kathleen (Raymond) Smith, Sharon (special friend Terry Manka) Day, Kurt (Debra) Lubinski, Darlene (Dave) Bierman, Sara Jo Lubinski, and Matthew (fiancé Deborah Huff) Lubinski; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother Robert (Judy) Schmidt; and special life-long friend Betty Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her husband James, brother Jim Schmidt, daughter Diane and Jeffrey Voigt, granddaughter Valerie Lubinski, and grandson Aaron Smith.
    The funeral liturgy for Eunice will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, October 20, 2014 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 312 S. State Street in Appleton. Fr. Bill Swichtenberg will be officiating. Entombment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton. A time of visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 9:30 am until the time of mass. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Online condolences can be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.

    Valerie S. Lubinski, Appleton, age 20, passed away at Colony Oaks Care Center on Wednesday, March 7, 2007. She was born in Appleton on September 23, 1986, daughter of Kurt and Debra (Bierman) Lubinski. Valerie was a sophomore at Appleton East High School when she was involved in an automobile accident in 2002. Her many interests included: snowmobiling, four-wheeling, being at the family cottage near Tigerton, listening to country music, especially Kenny Chesney; and her love of her cows. Valerie will be very dearly missed by her parents: Kurt and Debra Lubinski, Appleton; brother, Brad Lubinski, Appleton; grandmother, Eunice Lubinski; uncle and aunt: Dave and Darlene Bierman, Darboy; best friend, Kayla Pichler and Valerie's dog, Suzy. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Melvin and Ruth Bierman and James Lubinski. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2007, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 3212 S. Oneida St., Menasha, with Rev. Todd Murken, PhD. officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund in Valerie's name is being established.
