    Kathryn Ann Thomson,"Fuzzy", 66, of Appleton , passed away May 6, 2015, at her residence with her family by her side after a 3 year hard fought battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on January 21, 1949, daughter of Norbert and Margaret (Plutz) Grishaber. Kathryn married David Thomson on August 29, 1975.
    Kathryn was a Hortonville school bus driver for 23 years. She loved animals, cake decorating, cooking big meals, bus driving, bartending, waitressing and an occasional whiskey old fashion. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and their families. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.
    Kathryn is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Jessica (Brian) Schwalbach of Appleton; son, Benjamin (Katie) Thomson of Appleton; grandchildren, Brady and Tyler Schwalbach; sisters, Ann (Michael) Ritchie of Appleton and Mary Grishaber of Hilbert; sister-in-law, Barb (Jack) Simon of Tucson, AZ; brothers-in-law, Warren (Shirley) Thomson of Phoenix, AZ, Bud (Nancy) Thomson of Mountain, WI, Bruce Thomson of Lake Havasu City, AZ; godchildren, Jayme Henson and Chris Grishaber; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
    Kathryn was preceded in death by her father and mother, Norbert and Margaret; in-laws, Harold and Marie Thomson; brother, Mark Grishaber; nephew, Jeff Thomson; great nephew, Carsen Thomson.
    Memorial mass for Kathryn will be at 11:30 am on Monday, May 11, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Fr. William Van Dynhoven officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
    A memorial in Kathryn's name is being established.
    The family would like to thank Dr. Jonathon Tammela and his staff at St Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and Unity Hospice, also a special thank you for all the support from family, friends and neighbors.

    Obituary:
    Mark "Mouse" Grishaber, Menasha, 53, died peacefully Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at home surrounded by his family. Mark was born in Appleton on Feb. 2, 1954, to Norbert and Margaret (Plutz) Grishaber. He was a 1972 graduate of Appleton East High School, where he was a member of the Marching Band. Mark was the owner of Mark Grishaber Landscaping and Snowplowing. Mouse was a mellow, easygoing man who enjoyed helping others. His sense of humor will be warmly remembered by his family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, Mark loved to hunt, fish and snowmobile.
    Mark is survived by his best friend and loving companion, Barb Kasper; her children, Tanya Kasper, Troy (Stacey Long) Kasper and Tori (Shane) Miller; grandchildren, Madyson Dwight, Isaak and Morgan Kasper; his father, Norbert Grishaber and sisters, Kathy (Dave) Thomson, Ann (Mike) Ritchie and Mary Grishaber. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He will be dearly missed by his faithful friend, Cinder.
    Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret and several aunts and uncles.
    The Funeral Mass will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at Sacred Heart Parish (222 E. Fremont, Appleton) with the Rev. Norman Krutzik officiating. Visitation will begin Thursday at 3 p.m. until the time of Mass directly at church.
    Mark's family would like to extend a special thank you to Chuck, Mike and Dave for all the support they gave Mark and to the staff at Theda Care at Home Hospice for their kindness and compassion.
