    Lorraine L. Maloney, 82, passed away on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer.
    Lorraine was born on July 1, 1925, in Green Bay, Wis., to the late Stanley and Josephine (Sevcik) Blohoweak.
    She was a 1943 graduate of Green Bay East High School.
    On July 9, 1949, she married John M. Maloney at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Green Bay and he preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1977.
    She was a member of St. Claire Court of Forester's #1102 for over 60 years and a lifelong member of St. Mary's.
    She was employed with St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay until she retired in 1987. She was a devoted and loving mother whose happiest times were spent with her family.
    Lorraine will be sadly missed by three daughters and sons-in-law, Maxine and William Luedtke, Dykesville, with whom she resided; Donna and John Tuyls, Green Bay; Diane Maloney, De Pere; four sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Julie Maloney, Stevens Point; Terry Maloney and friend, Pam Frey, West Bountiful, Utah; Tom and Debi Maloney, De Pere; Ted and Reneè Maloney, Green Bay; nine grandchildren, Gregg Tuyls and his wife, Julie, who are expecting Lorraine's first great-grandchild in October, Karen Tuyls, Lacey and Michael Maloney, Maralyn and Emily Maloney, Jordan, Robert and Dustin Maloney; one sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Louie Greatens, one brother, Leonard Blohoweak, her in-laws, Betty Blohoweak, Jerome F. Maloney, Kathleen Duffy, Joan Conroy and Audrey Maloney; nieces and nephews.
    In addition to her husband and parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley "Lucky" Blohoweak Jr., her in-laws, Rosemary and Bill Lee Sr., John Duffy, Patrick Conroy, Larry Maloney and Audrey Blohoweak; her nephews, Elden Greatens, Matthew Duffy and Bill Lee Jr.
    Family and friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, corner of Cass and Irwin Sts., until time of Mass. Parish wake service 7 p.m. Tuesday, Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Fr. Tom Wojciechowski, O.F.M. officiating. Burial in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to Lorraine's family at www.prokowall.com.
    In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established in Lorraine's name.
