    Irma E. Van Dyke, age 100, of Appleton, passed away Thursday evening, July 30, 2015, at Brewster Village. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date.

    Irma E. Van Dyke, 100 of Appleton, died Thursday July 30, 2015 at Brewster Village with her family by her side. She was born May 5, 1915 in Askeaton, WI; daughter of the late Herman and Caroline (nee' Reinke) Winkler. Irma married Carl Van Dyke on June 22, 1940 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Askeaton. He preceded her in death in 1994.
    Irma was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and cooking. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family; Irma especially enjoyed hosting holiday and family gatherings at her house. Family was very important to her.
    Irma is survived by her two children, daughter, Karen Bahr, Madison; and son, Michael (Lynn) Van Dyke, Sturgeon Bay; two Grandchildren, Matthew (Shannon Gramann) Van Dyke, and Meredith Van Dyke (fiancé' Lucas Beversdorf); sister-in-law, Rosemary Johns, Kaukauna; and several nieces and nephews. She was further preceded in death by her sister, Norma Gilson; her brother, Clarence Winkler; sister-in-law, Lillian Olejnik; and brother-in-law, Gordon Van Dyke.
    Mass of Christian Burial for Irma will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday August 26, 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer St; Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
    Irma's family would like to thank the staff at both St. Paul Elder Home and Brewster Village for all the care and compassion given to Irma.

    Obituary:
    Ron passed away unexpectedly July 3, 2018 in Mineral Wells, Texas in the company of his children. Ron was born in Askeaton, Wisconsin to Roy and Elizabeth (Bess Derus) on February 13, 1931. Ron attended Askeaton Grade School, Wrightstown High School and Fox Valley Technical College where he studied Interior Design.
    In his youth, Ron worked in the family construction business, Winkler and Sons. He later started his own interior decorating business. Ron believed that entrepreneurship was a way to dedicate more time to his family, which he valued more than anything.
    Ron had an appreciation for life. He had a quiet strength and integrity and was content with his life. His giant personality, pure honesty and good humor, along with his love of Harley Davidsons made him a friend to everyone he met. He always welcomed any stranger into his home including many furry friends over the years.
    Ron is survived by his children: Debbie (Winkler) Haynes, Andre Winkler, Gregory Winkler, Laurie (Winkler) Watson, Allen Winkler, Allison (Winkler) Henderson and step-son, John Nelson. He is also survived by his sister, Sheri (Winkler) Lamers and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Elizabeth Winkler, sister Donna (Winkler) Gussert, Brother-in-Law's, Clarence Lamers, Conrad Gussert and his step-son, Gene Siebers.
    Ron's ashes will be interred in the family plot at Saint Patrick's Cemetery in Askeaton, Wisconsin on July 21st at 11AM. Friends and family who remember Ron are welcome to come to the graveside service to celebrate his life.
