    DEATH TAKES VETERAN NAVIGATION FOREMAN
    James T. Jones Dies Unexpectedly of Apoplexy Early Wednesday Morning
    Kaukauna - James T. Jones, 68 builder of the first foot bridge across the Fox river here 42 years ago, died suddenly of apoplexy at his home, 912 Wilson-st, at 6 o'clock Wednesday morning. Mr. Jones started to work with the navigation department of the federal government when he was 14 years old and has been in the U. S. service for 35 years. For many years he was foreman of construction on the Fox River.
    Born at Appleton, Mr. Jones moved with his family to Kaukauna when he was 12 years old. He had lived at Kaukauna since that time. In September, 1883, he married Miss Ellen Flynn, town of Harrison. Survivors are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. T. W. Lindstrom, and Miss Annabelle, Kaukauna; two sons, James W. Jones, Neenah, and Arthur, Kaukauna; one sister, Mrs. J. Carey, St. Paul. Minn: one brother, John McCormick, Omaha, Neb. Funeral services have not been arranged but probably will be hold Friday or Saturday at Holy Cross church with interment in Holy Cross cemetery.

    Kaukauna - Funeral services for, James T. Jones, who died Wednesday morning. will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning from Holy Cross Catholic church. Msgr. P. J. Lochmann will conduct the services and burial will be in the Northside Catholic cemetery.
