H. Van Den Broek Lifetime Kau Resident Dies
Henry W. Van Den Broek, 76, a lifetime resident of this city and a long time employee of the Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company before his retirement, died Wednesday morning, June 10, at. St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, following a long illness. Mr. Van Den Broek of 600 W. 7th St., was born April 22, 1905 in Kaukauna. After many years of employment, he retired from Thilmany in 1967. He was a member of the Thilmany Quarter Century Club and the Catholic Knights.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine, Kaukauna; one son, Clayton [Carp] Van Den Broek of Kaukauna; two sisters, Mrs. Frank [Francis] Ruiz of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Marie Vanden Heuvel of Three Lakes; two grandchildren; two step daughters, Mrs. Cornelius [Rita] Vander Pas of Appleton, and Mrs. Vincent [Helen] Zacharias of Wrightstown; and two step sons, Linus and Cletus Schaefer, both of Kaukauna.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Gary J. Dantinne officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Friday. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Friday evenng.
