    Verstegen, Virginia L. Mason City, Iowa Virginia L. "Ginny" Verstegen, 67, of 803 5th St., S.E., Mason City, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City. Virginia was born April 27, 1941, at Darboy, Wisconsin, the daughter of Stanley and Mabel (Blodgett) Zuleger.
    A funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 302 5th St., S.E., Mason City, with Rev. Craig E. Steimel and Rev. Don Zuleger, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today (July 22, 2008) at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St., N.E., Mason City, where a scriptural wake service will be held at 7 p.m. this evening.

    Obituary:
    Anthony "Tony" D. Zuleger, age 69 of Black Creek, Wisconsin, died surrounded by his loving family at Cherry Meadows, Appleton, on Thursday afternoon, May 8, 2014, following a long battle with chronic illness and cancer.
    Tony was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on November 20, 1944, son of Stanley and Mabel (Blodgett) Zuleger. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1963 until his honorable discharge in 1966. On May 3, 1969, Tony married Sally Ann Everett at Bethany Lutheran Church in Appleton. They enjoyed 45 wonderful years of marriage. Tony was employed by Kimberly Clark for 34 years until his retirement in 2001.
    Tony lived for other people. He was always making others happy with his big heart while looking for a good conversation over lunch with family and friends. Tony was extremely active person. He started the Fox Valley R/C club, was a member of the Broken Wheel Riding Club, and raced stock cars at Wisconsin International Raceway for many years. He enjoyed motorcycling and giving rides on his trike, traveling the United States with Sally in their RV, making furniture, and helping the local farmers.
    Tony is survived by his wife, Sally; daughters, Rebecca (Jim) Stelter of Champlin, MN, and Tess (Tim) Eckstein of Omro; sons, Lance Zuleger of Appleton, and Luke (Janet) Zuleger of Greenville; and seven grandchildren, Sheridan and Riley Stelter, Kyle Zuleger, David and Amber Zuleger, and Tader and Gracie Eckstein.
    He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ginny Verstagen.
    The funeral service for Tony will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2104, at Trinity Lutheran Church, (W6399 Cty Hwy O, Appleton) with Rev. Ronald Ash officiating. Family and friends may visit directly at church Tuesday morning from 8:30 until 11:15 a.m.
    The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff at Cherry Meadows, 4th Floor Oncology at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Theda Care Hospice, and especially to Amanda Leon for the exception care provided to Tony.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
