Michael R. "Mike" Marquardt, age 49, of Kaukauna, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 25, 2008, at his residence. Mike was born on February 4, 1959, in Kaukauna, the son of Ervin and Theresa (Van Eyck) Marquardt. Mike was owner-operator and partner in Four Seasons Siding Co. in Kaukauna. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son Eric.
Survivors include his son Eric, Kaukauna; a daughter, Sarah (Tom) Bucek of Milwaukee; a grandson, Cole Bucek; three sisters and a brother: Beth (Jeff) Lautenschlager of Appleton, Luane (Ken) Anderson of Kaukauna, Mark Marquardt of Kaukauna, and Deb (Steve) Brockman of Kaukauna. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother Daniel.
Memorial services for Mike will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2009, at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, (920-766-2099). Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of services.
